Main Menu

The main menu contains the system features of the Forum 500 /
Forum 5000 communications system.

Note:

Some menu entries are only shown on your telephone when
you belong to a user group authorised to use the corresponding
feature. Contact the system administrator when you have ques-
tions on specific features or are not able to use a feature satis-
factorily.

Menu tree

All features are arranged in a menu tree. The main menu contains the
following menu groups:

Calls

: This is where the most important call-related features are grouped

together.

Menu description: see page 174

Call forwarding

: This menu group provides all types of call forwarding which

you can programme on your telephone.

Menu description: see page 181

Messages

: This menu group offers information on messages which you have

sent or received. Furthermore, you can activate prepared notification
texts.

Menu description: see page 183

Phone settings

: In this menu group you can adjust the telephone’s settings to

suit your personal requirements.
