Menus
Your SIP system telephone provides different menus to configure and use the
Forum 500 / Forum 5000 communications system’s features.
Status Menu
The status menu provides operation features that fit to the current situation
(e. g. menu when the called subscriber is busy). To use this menu, you have to
programme a
Status menu
feature key (see also the chapter
on page 107). For a description of the
available status menu entries see the chapter
Main Menu
The main menu collects all features that can be used with the Forum 500 /
Forum 5000 communications system. It contains also all status menu entries.
To access the main menu, you have to programme either a
Main menu
feature
key or a
Status menu
feature key which also allows to access the main menu
when the telephone is in the idle state (see the chapter
on page 107). Please refer to the chapter
starting on page 173 for information on the main menu features.
Device Menu
Your telephone also has a local device menu. This menu is primarily for
configuring the telephone (display settings, audio settings, etc.). Please read
the chapter
starting on page 97 on the menu
functions.
Using Menus
The operation of the menus depends on the SIP system telephone type you
are using.
