When using a connected headset, after accepting a call, you should wait a
second before you begin to speak. This time is necessary for establishing
the connection between yourself and the caller.
Status Menu Before and During a Call
When your telephone is in the idle or the connection state, you can use the
status menu to access features that are available in the respective situation.
You can call up the status menu by pressing a programmed

feature key (see also the chapter entiled
Brief Description of Programmable
on page 107). For an overview of the available status menu
features please refer to the chapter
Example: Another telephone in your pick-up group rings and you want to
answer the call. Lift the handset, press the programmed
Menu >>>
key,
select the
Pick-up
menu entry and confirm this.

Note:
As a rule, the status menus only contain the features that can
actually be executed. If one of the menu entries, which are
described in the following chapters, is not displayed on your
phone, the respective feature is currently not available or can
not be executed.
“Selection” Status Menu in the Idle State
Press the programmed
Menu >>>
key (this also works if you have already
lifted the handset), then select one of the following menu entries.
Unpark call
: Consecutively unparks one or more connections which you have
previously parked, for instance to make enquiries or forward calls (see also the
chapter
starting on page 125). Select the desired
parked call from the displayed list.
Pick-up
: Accepts a call for another telephone in your pick-up group.
Pick-up select.
: Accepts a call for any other telephone. To do this, enter the
call number of the other telephone. If the other telephone is already in the call
