You can only programme the keys of your SIP system telephone if the system
administrator has assigned a service profile to your user group that configures
the
Change
or
Change-Personal
authorisation for the
Telephony >
Devices > System phones
menu.
The procedures for programming keys are described in depth in the
communications’s system online help. As a short summary, you can proceed
as follows:
1.
Select the desired telephone on the
System phones
status page in the
Search
input box.
The programmable key table is displayed. The number of programmable
keys is determined by the type of your SIP system telephone (please refer
also to the information given in the chapter
2.
In this table, click on the desired key (e.g. L1 for the phone’s trunk key 1).
A new dialogue opens.

Set the desired functions in this dialogue. Store the programmed key
configuration with
Apply
.
The dialogue then closes.
4.
If required, configure further keys for this telephone.
5.
If you have programmed all desired keys, click the
Apply
button on the
System phones
status page.
The settings are transferred to the telephone. The telephone restarts to
apply the new configuration.
Note:
If necessary for service purposes, a manual restart of a SIP
system telephone can be initiated using the
Restart
button. Any
calls taking place are disconnected if the system is restarted.
Notes on labelling keys

You can enter an individual label for each programmable key. If you enter
no text, the key will be labelled with a default text.

On the Forum IPhone 5025/5030/5040 SIP system telephones and on
the Forum 500(0) Keypad Display FIP 5025/5030/5040 expansion
module, the key label is shown on the display.
●
For the Forum IPhone 5010/5020 SIP system telephones and for the
Forum 500(0) Keypad Paper FIP 5020/5025/5030/5040 expansion
module, you can print a key label with the current key assignment.
