Configuring the Telephone

Restarting the Telephone

You have to restart the SIP system telephone sometimes, for example, to
activate a changed IP/MAC address allocation configuration.

Forum IPhone 5010/5020
1.

In the device menu, select

Phone Status > Restart Phone

and confirm.

The display shows:

Restart Phone?

Press the

key to confirm.

The telephone starts and is quickly ready for operation once again.

Forum IPhone 5025/5030
1.

In the device menu, select

Restart

and confirm.

The display shows:

Press the

Yes

The telephone starts and is quickly ready for operation once again.

1.

In the device menu, press the

Restoring Factory Settings

If the SIP system telephone cannot be configured via the Forum 500 /
Forum 5000 communications system you should reset to factory settings.
