REPLACING THE PARKING BRAKE CABLE
Hitch trailer to tractor. Park trailer and tractor on level surface.
Place securing chocks under trailer wheel.
Loosen nuts (5) of cable clamps.
Dismantle cable (3).
Lubricate parking brake mechanism (1) and pins of cable guide rollers (4).
Install new cable, adjust cable tension.

(1) steel cable, (2) clamp jaw, (3) thimble, (4) nut, (5) heat shrink tubing
INSTALLATION OF STEEL CABLE
Secure cable ends by means of heat shrink tubing (5).
Mount thimble (3).
Mount the first clamp jaw as close as possible to thimble and tighten nuts (4).
Mount other clamp jaws and also tighten nuts.
