To change an internal IP address of a BladeFrame BF200:
1.
Connect your console to Control Blade 1.
2.
Log on as
root
.
3.
Change the internal IP addresses using the
intnet
command.
Enter all addresses in the same command line, in the following
format:
#
intnet -N
Network_IP
-M
Netmask
-B
Broadcast_IP
where:
Network_IP
is the IP address of the internal management
network.
Netmask
is the network mask IP address.
Broadcast_IP
is the broadcast address of the internal
management network.
4.
The prompt displays
Activate internal network
configuration (y/n).
Type
y
to configure the new
addresses you entered in the preceding step, or type
n
to discard
the addresses.
5.
Verify that addresses have changed, by entering the following:
#
intnet
This displays the current IP address for each of the interfaces.
Control Blade 2 automatically picks up these address changes from
Control Blade 1.
To confirm this:
1.
Connect your console to Control Blade 2.
2.
Log on as
root
if you are not already logged on.
