Identifying the
pBlades
There are currently five versions of pBlades available and
supported on the BladeFrame BF200. This section explains how
you can identify which type of pBlade you have, and how you can
determine its configuration.
You can identify the version of pBlades in your BladeFrame BF200
by locating the product number. This takes the form S26361-
K1xxx-Vyyy, and is found on the product ID label that is located on
the lower front left side of the pBlade chassis. Proceed with
installing the pBlades after you identify the type of pBlades that
you have.
Installing the
pBlades There are six pBlade slots in the BladeFrame BF200 chassis. The
slot numbers can be found by opening the glass door and looking at
the bottom of the chassis. The pBlades are installed in slots 2
through 7. Slots 1 and 8 are reserved for cBlades only; do not insert
a pBlade into slot 1 or 8.
