m us t b e to the prete s t condition s noted ab ove (if it s mell s bu rned...). If the only effect of energizing the s t a rter re su lt s only in a n au di b le
“click ” with no prop movement, confirm s tep 2 to i s ol a te pro b lem to s t a rter or s t a rter cont a ctor.
