FAQ’s
1.
What is the correct way of turning “ON” the DPM Reader?
Answer:
Firstly, ensure the external mains cable is fitted to a wall socket and
securely fastened into the AC Mains socket on the enclosure, that both the Mains
and Battery Isolations Switches are in the “OFF” position and the power button is in
the non-depressed state.
Open Mains input’s cap by rotating it counter clockwise.
Connect provided power cable to Mains input and wall socket. Turn on both isolation
switches and press power button to turn on DPM Reader. Green light on the power
button should be on within 15 seconds of pressing the button. Before the first
measurement, it may take up to half an hour to complete system initialisation.
2. What is the setting for the DPM Reader Measurement Cycle?
Answer:
The factory default setting is one completed measurement cycle every 320
seconds. The measurement time interval can however be changed via the HMI.
Consult with your local Pinssar representative to determine any impact that may
occur by altering the sample interval
3. Does the DPM Reader require regular interval or periodic servicing even
though it appears to be working fine?
Answer:
Yes. Periodic service is very important for maintaining measurement
performance and to maximise the operational lifetime of DPM Reader.
4. Can any competent person complete the regular interval service?
Answer:
No. Servicing, inspections and diagnostic trouble shooting must be
completed by a suitably qualified technician who has attended the required product
familiarisation and training program. To safeguard this process, the DPM Reader is
sealed with a tamper proof label and only registered and authorised personnel have
replacement tamper proof labels if the seal must be broken for front door access.
Should the DPM Reader be found not to have the tamper proof label in place, this
may invalidate the warranty.
5. Whom should I contact when there is a question not seemingly addressed in
the DPM Reader Installation or Service Manuals?

via email at

7. Can similar or equivalent parts be used for service?
