Identify which reading is out of range to narrow down if the Amplifier, Sensor or Laser
has an issue. Check the digital output of relay No 5 is 5VDC, while manually turning on
and off the Amplifier. Check the DPM carrier board output for the sensor. The Amplifier,
Sensor and Laser are part of the calibrated sub-assembly so the whole 05-0773 Laser
Chamber sub-assembly will need to be replaced if one of these components is faulty to
maintain the calibration of the unit.
12.5 Laser
From the SYSTEM OVERVIEW page, clicking on the LASER box will take the user to
the LASER STATUS page (Figure 58). This will allow operators to monitor and manually
control the state of the laser beam.
