Fault Condition Diagnostics and Repair

This section of the DPM Service Manual details the correct method for diagnosis and
replacement of a faulty module in the field. The following activities should only be carried
out by a suitably qualified and competent technician.

The Reader is divided in to three main functional areas, these being;

•

The Left Gear Plate. These components are primarily related to the power

distribution, communication and PLC.

•

The Right Gear Plate. These components relate to the measurement of the diesel

particulates.

•

The Housing. This includes the housing and all associated components fitted to

the housing.
