The PLC stage is configured to control all the required analogue and digital inputs and
outputs to and from the measurement and control circuitry. Collected measurement data
is then collated and communicated via either the Ethernet socket or Wireless Router.
The Measurement stage controls airflow and its alternative paths, powers the laser and
measures outputs from the light sensor amplifier.

Scope of Service Manual
Very real dangers such as AC high voltage, unprotected fan blades and an operational
laser may be present when accessing the DPM Reader via the front access door.
Specific areas within the DPM Reader, where these dangers may exist are pointed out
and illustrated along with the power states associated with the dangers.
The Service Manual provides the information required to undertake either an in-field
planned service or diagnostic and fault service. This Service Manual may also be used
as a product training guide.
The Service Manual provides instruction on how and when to replace the clean air filter
cartridge, clean and drain the external high humidity and dust filter, clean the cyclone
air particle filter and replace the laser measurement chamber for its annual service.
