Check the connection of power button to PSU power board and check the cable for any
damage.
9.3.1.2

LECTRICAL TEST
Warning: Set DPM Reader to Safety Control Level 2
Turn power button “ON” and then “OFF”. If DPM remains ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’ regardless of
power button test the power button output at the Power Distribution Board. The output
voltage should be 7VDC. If no voltage is present replace the Power Distribution Board.
If 7VDC is present, then the Power Button is faulty and is to be replaced.
If power button is functional and controls DPM Reader power fine but the power button's
LED does not illuminate at all during operation, the power b
utton’s LED is faulty, and
the power button must be replaced.
Warning: Set DPM Reader to Safety Control Level 4
Unplug the power button's four-way phoenix connector from the power board. Use a
multi-meter to test the continuity of the connection for the pair of blue wires, check that
the switch is functioning properly for both the switch open and closed states.

UTTON REPLACEMENT

Refer to
Figure 44 and Figure 45.
1. Unplug the power button's connector from the power distribution board.
2. Release the hex nut on the inside of the enclosure. Push the power button out
of enclosure hole and pull the cable through after it.
