New 1000 Series

To assemble

1 Clean the seats of the three-piece "O" ring and
renew the "O" rings (A3).

2 Clean the flange face (A1) for the three-piece "O"
rings on the inside of the cover.

3 Fit the cover of the oil cooler to the element (A2).

4 Fit the two-piece flanges (A4) onto the studs (A5).
Tighten the nuts to retain the element when the oil
cooler assembly is fitted to the engine.

5 Fit the oil cooler to the cylinder block
