LS 55 User’s Guide 

 

Cleaning the LS 55 

 

CAUTION 

Always switch off the power and remove the power cord 

before cleaning. 

You can clean the outside of the LS 55 using a damp cloth. Mild detergent may be 
used, if necessary. Always perform a patch test on an inconspicuous area of the 
instrument before you clean the entire instrument. 

Avoid spilling liquid into the instrument. Clean all external spills immediately. If 
anything that is spilled enters the main body of the LS 55, switch off the power and 
call a PerkinElmer Service Engineer.
