LS 55 User’s Guide 

 

The Electronics System and Signal Handling 

For each data collection cycle spectral data are obtained from the photomultipliers.  
The data signals undergo integration, conversion, averaging, digital filtering and 
ratioing before the PC receives the data. The path of the data signals through the 
LS 55 is shown in the electronics diagram and in the signal-handling diagram.  The 
electronics diagram is shown in Figure 113.
