LS 55 User’s Guide 

 

Bit switches on the instrument control VME board should be setup depending on 
whether an Excitation Fast Filter, an Emission Fast Filter or both were fitted as 
follows:  

NOTE:

 

Only the first two bit switches should be moved, the other switches are 

shown here for example purposes, but must not be moved from their 
factory settings.

Software installation 

After physical installation of the Fast Filter wheels, the FL WinLab software must be 
configured so that it knows where the filters are.
