LS 55 User’s Guide 

 

Operation 

Collection of data using the Fast Filter accessory is performed using the Fast Filter 
application in the FL WinLab menu.  

On starting, the Fast Filter application interrogates the filter position information 
entered via the LS 55 Status application. If polarizers are present then options for 
time-dependent collection of polarization and anisotropy will be offered. If the 
filters are standard band-pass type, then ratiometric options are offered.  

A description of the Fast Filter application is given in the FL WinLab Software 
manual.
