The 40 mm

holes in the base plate make it possible to slightly adjust the hand-operated

barrier horizontally. For any vertical adjustments, you may have to insert pieces of sheet
metal under the base plate in close proximity to the fastening bolts.

Warning

Our hand-operated boom barriers are fitted with adjustable end stops. These
stops and the gas-filled damper have been properly adjusted at the factory.
Therefore, you should not re-adjust them.

5.5 Installation of the Electrically Operated Boor Barrier Type GES
and the Electro-hydraulically Operated Boom Barrier Type GEHS

Note

The electro-mechanical boom barriers can optionally be fitted with a pendulum
support or a fixed support post. The installation of these components is
described in sections 5.6 and/or 5.7.

For lifting and transporting the electro-mechanical boom barriers, please observe the
instructions of section "4. Transportation".

5.5.1 Fastening the boom barrier onto the foundation

In order to install the electrically or electro-hydraulically operated boom barrier, you have to
remove the housing first.

Note

The surface of the stainless steel housing is protected with a protective film
during transport (see photos). Do not remove this protective film until all
installation work has been completed.
