Note
A magnetic safety switch mounted on the rear of the housing is engaged when
the hood is closed. If the hood is removed, all electrical functions of the control
unit are interrupted. This is necessary for safety purposes; otherwise control
elements in locations not visible from the position of the barrier may trigger a
command for boom operation and thus, possibly, pose a safety hazard. If you
want to conduct trial runs of the barrier operation, you will have to temporarily put
back in place the hood with the magnetic safety switch.
6.2.2.2 Possible adjustments on the control unit
Prior to making any adjustments to the control unit, you should always be sure to switch off
the main switch on the terminal block.
The control unit is located in a separate casing under the hood of the barrier housing.
