5.7.2 Installation of the fixed support post in sleeve foundation
If needed, completely remove the Styrofoam block from the concrete sleeve.
Place the fixed support post in the middle of the sleeve.
Make sure that the barrier boom properly rests in the resting fork. If required, place as many
pebbles (or something similar) as needed in the sleeve under and next to the support post so
that it is both perfectly vertical and of the correct height, then wedge it in place. Fill up the
sleeve with site-mixed concrete and let it cure for the prescribed time.
6. Putting the Boom Barrier into Operation
Warning
Our boom barrier systems may only be put into operation by persons especially
authorised by us for this purpose. Failure to do so will void the warranty.
Do not undertake any repairs or modifications on you own; instead, please phone us on +49
(0) 5258 - 500 758.
Note
While putting the barrier into operation, you are strongly advised to keep the
Operating Manual close at hand.
When, while putting the barrier into operation, it should become necessary to learn which
external components are connected to what terminal on the control unit’s terminal block, you
will find the necessary information in the terminal diagrams enclosed with the barrier.
