2.3.1 Relevant regulations that the boom barrier systems comply with
o
EC Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC)
o
EC Low Voltage Directive (73/23/EC)
o
EMC Directive (2004/108/EC)
o
Work Places Ordinance
o
Accident Prevention Regulations BGV A1, §§ 28 and 29
Applied national technical norms and standards and technical specifications:
National norms and standards complied with:
DIN 4844, DIN 8195, DIN 8563, DIN 18800
and others listed in BGR 232 (Rules for Powered Windows, Doors and Gates,
formerly known as ZH 1/494).
2.4 Environmental Compatibility
Our boom barrier systems do not adversely affect the environment in any way.
The electric control system of the electro-mechanical barriers has been tested and found to
be EMC safe (

During manufacturing, we employ solvent-free processes for surface treatment. Steel is
protected against corrosion using a duplex process consisting of high-quality galvanising and
powder coating. Excess paint powder does not have to be disposed of, because it is
vacuumed off and recycled.
All production facilities are equipped with filter systems the emissions of which are below the
limits mandated by law.
Disposal of our barrier systems does not pose any problems as the steel, plastic
components, and electrical components can easily be separated and professionally recycled
or disposed of.
