2.2.2.1 Electrically operated barrier - drive and control unit

The drive and control unit of our electrically and electro-hydraulically operated boom barriers
is mounted in a self-supporting steel frame construction. This frame construction has a base
plate with holes for fastening it onto a concrete foundation.

Figure 2.15

Drive and control unit in self-supporting steel frame construction

The frame construction is covered with a two-piece stainless steel casing for easy
maintenance. A hood, also removable, covers the top of the entire housing and provides
protection against the weather.
