As an option, the hand-operated barrier can be fitted with a locking device equipped with a
profile cylinder lock. This device can be bolted either to the barrier stand or to the fixed
support post.
7.6 Operation of Electrically and Electro-hydraulically Operated
Boom Barriers
7.6.1 Opening and closing
Warning
You may only allow properly instructed persons to operate our electrically
operated boom barriers.
You can operate the electrically and electro-hydraulically operated boom barriers with a
variety of control devices. It may also prove very useful to employ a combination of different
control devices. Please ascertain which product version you ordered.
Note
No matter what type of control device you use to operate the electro-mechanical
boom barriers, it will trigger an impulse which will put the barrier boom in motion.
This motion will be automatically stopped by means of contact-free magnetic
switches once the boom has reached either final position.
Note
If OPEN and CLOSE commands are received simultaneously, the OPEN
command is always given priority.
