LCD DISPLAY
1.
Using the
"MODE"
button we can select a specific welding method, which will be displayed
in field 1. The device can operate in the following modes:
a)
TIG AC
manual argon shielded arc welding with an infusible alternating current
tungsten electrode.
b)
TIG DC
manual arc welding in argon shielding with an infusible tungsten electrode
with direct current.
c)
MMA
manual arc welding with a hot melt electrode wrapped in direct current.
d)
RIV (SPOT)
spot welding function

Using the
"PROG"
button we can select 1 out of 10 programs on the panel, the current user
settings number is displayed.

This field displays the name of the function selected using the
"RIGHT" and "LEFT"
buttons. ,

This field displays values and units of measurement, which can be adjusted using the
"UP"
and "DOWN"
buttons.

This field contains device status indicators
a)
"T"
temperature status indicator for the hottest parts of the welder, if it is highlighted
in red, it means that the device is overheated and you have to wait for it to cool down.
When it cools down, the indicator will turn green.
b)
The "W"
welding process indicator, if highlighted in blue, means that the welding
process is in progress (the button on the handle is pressed) and the change of all
parameters is not available.
c)
"A"
indicates that the device has been damaged if it is highlighted in red. Please
contact the
PATON Authorized Service Center.
6.
The welding cycle ladder of the selected mode is displayed, it is different for each type of
welding.

Pulse mode indicator:
a)
"P"
pulse mode is on
b)
"N"
pulse mode is off
9.
In this field there is an indicator of the saved welding program, if the
"S"
is lit, it means that
the program has already been saved in the device memory.
