ADI 200 PAC AC/DC TIG/MMA
INSTRUCTION
Before using the device, please read and follow this manual. The operating
instructions are the basic equipment of the device.
USER'S OBLIGATIONS:
The user undertakes to only allow persons to work
with the welding equipment: Have become acquainted with the basic safety
rules, have been trained in the use of the welding equipment and have the
appropriate qualifications. They are familiar with the chapter "Safety
regulations" and the safety instructions in this manual.
THE COMMISSION'S DIRECTORATE-GENERAL FOR THREATS
ELECTRICAL USE CAN KILL:
Welding equipment generates high voltage.
While the device is connected to the power supply, it is not allowed to touch
the welding gun and the workpiece. All these components form a welding
current circuit and can cause an electric shock, so be careful not to touch them
with your bare hand or with wet or damaged protective clothing. Protective
clothing should not hinder movement. If possible, it should not be made of
synthetic materials.
An electric shock can be fatal!
Arc RADIATION MAY BENEFIT:
Direct observation of the welding arc
with naked eyes is not permitted. The arc and splinters that occur during
operation may cause skin burns or cause flames, so a protective mask fitted
with a tinted filter should be worn every time (glasses should be fitted with
DIN 9 10 grade filter glasses) Bystanders in the vicinity of the device should
protect their eyes with special protective goggles or with non-flammable,
radiation-absorbing screens.
fumes and gases CAN BE DANGEROUS: The
resulting smoke and harmful
gases should be removed from the workplace by means of specialised
equipment and the ventilation openings should not be obstructed. Weld in
well-ventilated areas, the fumes generated during welding are harmful to
health, especially when welding lead, mercury, cadmium, zinc, beryllium, as
well as galvanized or stainless steel surfaces. A sufficient amount of fresh air
must be provided in the room. Do not allow solvent fumes to enter the
welding arc area.
ELECTROMAGNETIC BOXES CAN BE DANGEROUS: The
electromagnetic field created by high voltage current flowing through welding
cables can have a negative impact on the performance of electrical equipment,
e.g.
cardiostimulator.
Persons wearing such a device should consult a doctor
before entering the area where the welding work is carried out. Welding
cables should be laid in parallel as close to each other as possible.
Sparks CAN cause a fire or explosion:
Remove flammable items from the
workplace. Do not perform welding work on containers that contain gases,
fuels, petroleum products or other combustible materials. There is a risk of
explosion of residues of these products. Special rules must be observed when
carrying out welding work in rooms with a risk of explosion or fire, which
comply with national and international standards. Fire-fighting equipment
such as: (powder or snow fire extinguishers, fire blankets) should be located
near the workplace in a visible and easily accessible place.
