2.3 CONNECTION TO A POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
The standard version of the device is connected to a 230 V power supply (-17 % +13 %).
ATTENTION
!
The manufacturer's warranty is void if the device is
connected to a supply voltage of over 260 V! The power supply connector,
cross sections of the supply cables as well as the mains fuses must be selected
taking into account the technical characteristics of the device.
2.4 REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ELECTRICAL OUTLET
ATTENTION!
The power plug should correspond to the supply voltage
and current drawn by the welder (see technical parameters). According to the
safety technique you must use sockets
with guaranteed earthing.
3.
ARGON ARC WELDING PROCESS (TIG)
3.1 PREPARING THE WELDING UNIT FOR OPERATION
The order of preparation of the device for TIG DC 2T welding:
1.
Connect the

holder to the source

2.
Connect the "ground" cable to the source

"+" socket;
3.
Plug the gas cable of the holder into the socket

(right side);
4.
Connect the handle control cable to the control connector

(left);
5.
Attach the ground wire "grounding" of your choice;
6.
Install the reducer on a gas cylinder with shielding gas
7.
Connect the shielding gas cylinders to the stub

on the rear panel of the unit;
8.
Open the valve of the gas cylinder, check for airtightness;
9.
Connect the power plug to the mains
10.
Set the power switch

on the rear panel to position "1";
11.
Use the
(MODE)
button to select the
TIG DC
welding method
(default)
12.
Using the buttons
(PROG)
we can save selected parameter settings in 10 programs,
13.
Using the
(LEFT) and (RIGHT)
buttons you can select a specific function, while
using the
(UP) and (DOWN)
buttons you can adjust the value of the selected function
parameter.
14.
The device is ready to use.
