4.5
LINEAR DECREASE OF WELDING CURRENT
This function is necessary to improve the crater filling process, which is created under the pressure of
the basic working current of the welding arc. The crater left at the end of the weld is a very serious
defect in the weld, which can cause the whole seam to crack or leak and is then a source of defects in
the weld. Therefore, it is much easier and more correct to perform a weld for a fixed time of the
current
[Fall Time]
. The default setting is 0.1 s.
The mode for changing the value of any function in the current welding method, see section 8.2.
4.6
CRATER WELDING CURRENT
It is essential to determine the level to which the current drops at the end of the welding process. It is
necessary to fill the crater in the case of the
TIG-4T
button mode (while holding the handle button
for the second time). By default, the crater filling current
[Finish Current]
is set to
10 A
.
The mode for changing the value of any function in the current welding method, see section 8.2.
4.7
ARC STABILIZER FUNCTION
This function consists in maintaining the glow of the arc by the oscillator during the entire welding
process, when the arc is broken, the oscillator will ignite it again. It is recommended to use this
function at low currents.
The mode for changing the value of any function in the current welding method, see section 8.2.
