SETTING THE WELDING UNIT INTO OPERATION
ATTENTION
!
Before commissioning, read
chapter 18
"Safety regulations"
2.1 PROPER USE
The welding equipment is designed exclusively: for direct and alternating current
"TIG"
inert gas
arc welding, and for manual arc welding with the
"MMA"
electrode, Other use of the equipment is
considered not suitable for the purpose. The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by
improper use of the device. The use of the welding equipment is appropriate if all requirements of
this manual are met.
ATTENTION
! Do not use a welding device to defrost pipes.
2.2 REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTALLATION
The welding equipment is protected against penetration of foreign hard particles with a diameter of
more than 12.5 mm.
The device can be placed and operated outdoors. The internal electrical parts of the device are
protected against direct exposure to moisture, but are not protected against condensation.
ATTENTION!
When welding is finished during hot weather or in heavy welding
work in all weathers, it is recommended not to switch off the device immediately!
The electronic components must be allowed to cool down within 5 minutes.
ATTENTION
!
During operation in cold seasons, condensed water may appear
inside when the device is switched off and cooled down. Switch on the welding
machine again 3-4 hours after switching off the machine.
For this reason, do not switch off the welding machine during the cold season if you plan to switch it
on no later than 4 hours after switching it off.
The device shall be positioned in such a way as to ensure the free flow of cooling air through the
vents on the front and rear cover. Attention shall be paid to metal dust (which is formed, for example,
by abrasive grinding) which shall not be directly absorbed into the unit by the cooling fan.
ATTENTION
!
After falling from a height, the welding device can be dangerous
to life, a source of electric shock. Place the device on a stable, hard surface.
