TIG AC ARC WELDING WITH FUNCTION - TIG AC
5.1
ARC WELDING CYCLE - TIG AC 2T
The function of a button to control the welding handle, the welder has a
non-contact arc ignition
module (oscillator), with a built-in gas supply valve. When the control button on the handle is
pressed, the control signal is sent to the welding device controller, which activates the gas
preflow
function to clean the weld area before welding. It then sends a signal to the source, which supplies an
impulse to the contactless arc ignition system, which produces a high voltage impulse to initiate the
welding process, and then determines the time for the current to rise to the preset welding current.
After this, all other functions will be carried out (we will discuss them below) according to the
welding cycle. When the button is released, the welding current will decrease linearly, the arc will
start to expire and the welding area will be cleaned with gas
(Postflow)
, the gas supply valve will be
closed with a delay. TIG welding, both direct and alternating current, stands out among other ways
by its rather complicated additional settings.
