Step 27: Mount Bottom Chassis Plate to Main Assembly 

Finally, you can mount the Bottom Chassis Plate to the Main Assembly and secure the Landing 
Gear. 

Tools Needed 

● #1 Philips Head Screwdriver 
● 1/4” Wrench,  1/4" Socket, or Adjustable Wrench 

Parts Needed 

● 8 – Locknut, #4-40 (#700-00093)(#1 in drawing below) 
● 1 – Bottom Chassis Plate (#721-80003)(#2 in drawing below) 
● 8 – Saddle Washer, 3/4” (#712-00010)(#3 in drawing below) 
● 4 – ELEV-8 assembly, prepared in Step 26 (#4 in drawing below) 

Instructions 

 

 

 

1. Orient the ELEV-8 so that it is upside-down and facing away from you. 
2. Place a saddle washer over each of the screws running through the Booms.
