Step 36: Secure Battery into Chassis 

It is now time to install the battery into its position on the Chassis. Thanks to the hook-and-loop 
straps, it can be easily removed for charging and storage. 

Parts Needed 

● ELEV-8 assembly, prepared in Step 35 
● 1 – LiPo Battery, prepared in Step 5 

Instructions 

1. Orient the ELEV-8 so that it is upright and facing away from you. 
2. Slide the battery under the Flight Controller mount, so that the battery leads face the 

back of the ELEV-8. 

 

 

 

3. Take one end of the strap in each hand and pull firmly apart and slightly up to tighten, 

and then push down to secure.
