NOTE
: If the docking station is not connected to power, the device does not automatically detect if it has been
placed on the docking station. Tap Manual Calibration to start the calibration process manually. The device
looks for the QR code in the docking station and calibrates the device.
Performing a Calibration
1. Make sure the media flattener located in the optical area is stored in its retracted position before calibration.
Refer to the Media Flattener section earlier in the manual for additional details.
2. Place the device in the docking station.
3. Select Calibration (1) from the eXact 2 menu. The Calibration screen displays the current calibration status,
last calibrated, and other information.
4. Tap Calibrate Device (2) on the screen. The device displays a “Calibrating” message during calibration.
5. A “Calibration Complete” message briefly appears after calibration is successful.
NOTE
: The docking station has a QR Code label located just above the white tile. If for any reason the
device cannot scan the label before a calibration, an error message appears in the display. Make sure the
QR code label is clean and retry the calibration. If the message still appears after cleaning, tap the Select
Serial Number (3) and select the docking station serial number from the list (4) that appears to continue.
The docking station serial number can be found on the bottom of the docking station.
Use the manual calibration button to trigger the calibration process where it will look for the QR code
