2. If required, extend out the media flattener into the aperture area.
3. Select Density or Color. This example explains the steps for Color.
4. Activate targeting mode by pressing the Measure button once.
5. Press and hold the brake button. Roll the device over the sample until the area to measure is viewed within
the circle (reticle) in the targeting window. Release the brake button.
6. Press the Measure button again to take the measurement. Measurement data appears in the display along
with a simulated color patch. Continue with additional measurements if required.
7. Tap the
icon at the top of the screen to exit targeting mode and view additional measurement data.
8. An unsuccessful measurement will be indicated by an error message. See the Troubleshooting section for
more details.
