eXact 2 Suite Software Application
NOTE: You will need to register your eXact 2 device before you have access to download the eXact 2 Suite
software. Refer to the Registration section in the Appendix for additional information.
You should install the software application before connecting the device to your computer.
The application allows you to run and set several setting options in the device, such as:

View and edit all settings

Update device firmware

Create and manage color libraries, jobs, and more

Capture spot and scan measurements from eXact 2 devices and transfer the data directly to an
application, such as Microsoft® Excel

Transfer color libraries, jobs, and firmware to and from X-Rite Link fleet management

Manage and transfer PantoneLIVE libraries

Manage and transfer Digital Loupe images from the device
System Requirements

Windows 10, Windows 11 (all 32 or 64 bit)

macOS 10.15, macOS 11, macOS 12

2 GB RAM

4 GB hard disk free
Installing the eXact 2 Suite Software
IMPORTANT: You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group to install the
software on Windows 10 system.
1. After the eXact Suite 2 application is downloaded, browse to the download location, and double-click the
.exe file.
2. Follow the on-screen prompts to install the software.
Refer to the on-line help for information on using the application.
