3. 4. 4. 25 Direct Code Input Diag (Others)
Description This is the DC code that is set mainly for development, and it is not used in the field.
This is used only when a special indication is issued.
Procedure
1. Select the "Others" tab on the Service Mode screen.
2. Select [DC010] on the Others screen.
3. The Direct Code Input Diag screen is displayed.
4. Input the message ID, DCNO and parameters to execute. The execution status/completion
notification are displayed in the right screen.
5. Select [Close] to return to the Others screen.

<DC010 How to operate the Direct Code Input Diag>
1. Enter DC010.
2. In the Direct Code Input Diag screen, input "612" in [DC No. :].
3. Input "416" in the [P1] of the Parameter column.
4. Select [Decimal, 2 bytes] in [Data] of the Parameter column.
5. In the Data column under [Decimal, 2 bytes], input a value based on the selection of the
[SMH Code Input Table] (1) Color Test Pattern No. and the data in Selection of Output
Pattern (e.g. "1" at LSU (ROS) Check Pattern).
6. Input or select values for the PI No. and Selection of Data Type of (2) and (3), and Data
based on the [SMH Code Input Table] (2) and (3).
7. Select [Next], and input or select values for the PI No. and Data of (4) and (6) based on the
[SMH Code Input Table] (4) and (6).
8. Select [Next], and input or select values for the PI No. and Data of (7) and (9) based on the
[SMH Code Input Table] (7) and (9).
9. Load paper of the paper size to be output to the SMH of the machine in the same direction.
(Check the load status.)
10. Select the [Execute] button.
This executes test pattern print from the SMH.
Others:
• Once values are input or selected, they will be saved until the [Close] button is selected in the
DC010 Direct Code Input Diag.
• Other patterns (LSU (ROS) Check, Halftone (IOT), Grid 1-dot, Fast Scan 8-Gradation), paper
type, or paper size/orientation can be changed by inputting values in each Data column
corresponding to the ( ) number in the PC-Diag screen while operating the [Previous] and
[Next] buttons.
