3. 4. 4. 17 DC683 Regi Control Sensor Check Cycle
Function Checks the functions of the Regi Control Sensor. This is self-diagnostics cycle for
checking whether the detection system works properly.
• To check that the detection result is "Misregistration=zero", detects each misregistration
amount at IN/OUT using the C patch (single Cyan color), and displays the misregistration
amount detected by each sensor in the UI screen. Correction is not performed.

Execution time: Approx. 15 sec.
Procedure
1. Select "Registration" tab on the Service Mode screen.
2. Select [
DC683
] on the Registration screen.
3. The Regi Control Sensor Check Cycle screen is displayed.
4. Select [Execute].
5. In [Judgement],
OK is displayed: Complete
NG is displayed: Check the following causes and execute DC683 again.
• Sensor: Improper installation, failure
• Pattern: Density insufficient, Belt scratched
• Frame: Distortion
If the result is NG again, refer to FIP to repair the trouble.
6. Select [Close] to return to the Registration screen.
