1.7 Compliance
The appliances covered by this manual comply with the
legislative provisions of the following European directives:
2018/852:
Packaging Directive
2009/125/EC: Ecodesign Directive – Energy related
product
85/374/EEC: Defective products
The following harmonised standards and/or regulations
have been applied:
- EN 1860-1:2017
- EN 13229:2006
1.8 Legal warranty
The user, in order to be able to take advantage of the
legal warranty, referred to in EEC Directive 1999/44/EC,
must scrupulously observe the prescriptions contained in
this manual and in particular must:
•
always operate within the limits of use of the
barbecue;
•
always carry out a constant and diligent maintenance;
• authorise to use the barbecue persons of proven
ability, aptitude and who are adequately trained for
the purpose.
Failure to comply with the instructions contained in
this manual will result in immediate invalidation of the
warranty.
1.9 Responsibility of the manufacturer
The manufacturer declines all civil and criminal,
direct or indirect responsibility, due to:
•
installation non-complying with the existing
regulations in the country and with the safety
directives;
•
failure to follow the instructions contained in
this manual;
•
installation by unqualified and non-trained
personnel;
•
use not in compliance with the safety directives;
•
modifications and repairs not authorised by
the Manufacturer carried out on the machine;
•
use of non-original or non-specific spare parts
for the barbecue model;
•
lack of maintenance;
• exceptional events.
1.10 Technical assistance and maintenance
Palazzetti has a dense network of service centres with
specialised, trained and skilled technicians.
The headquarters and our sales network is at your
disposal to direct you to the nearest authorised service
centre.
1.11 Spare parts
Use only original spare parts.
Do not wait until the components are worn by use before
proceeding to their replacement.
Replace a worn component before its breaking favours
the prevention of accidents arising from accidents
caused by the sudden breakage of components which
may cause serious damages to persons and objects.
P
erform periodic maintenance checks as indicated
in the "Maintenance and Cleaning” chapter.
1.12 Delivery of the appliance
The appliance is delivered perfectly packaged and fixed
to a wooden platform which allows handling it using fork
lift trucks and/or other means.
The following material accompanies the appliance:
• installation, use and maintenance manual;
• bar code label.
