Once the controller is properly installed, issue the “install CMI” command to the FSC to begin polling the CMI
controller.
EXAMPLE:
Admin>install cmi 1
Okay
To configure the CMI controller, issue the “configure CMI” command:
EXAMPLE:
Admin>configure cmi 1
RFID Reader 1 Tied to Pump #: 1

Clear RFID Reader Error Counter (Y/N)? y
RFID Reader 2 Tied to Pump #: 2
Max Time to Hold CMI RFID Tag Info (minutes): 60
Clear RFID Reader Error Counter (Y/N)? N
NOTE:
The “Max Time to Hold CMI RFID Tag Info” specifies the length of time that the FSC
will consider the RFID tag info as valid. The default is 60 minutes. If the driver attempts to
initiate a transaction after this timer has expired, the driver will need to key in the vehicle #.
To help keep track of read errors you can clear the error counter.
