ECL Direct Digital Synthesizer (Other Option -3)
If the ECL version of the Direct Digital Synthesizer is installed, the HF Synthesizer
option is momentarily displayed after the menu is accessed.

Press key 8 to view the type of option installed in the unit.

This screen indicates the Factory Default settings for the HF Synthesizer version:
output frequency of 1 MHz (1000000 Hz), the Sinusoid output port enabled (On), and
the Differential output port disabled (Off). After subsequent application of input power,
the screen indicates the frequency and port setup selected by the user prior to the
removal of input power. To change the output frequency or to enable/disable the output
ports:
•
Press the Edit key to enter the edit mode.

Use the arrow and numeric keys to select the output frequency.
Note: The frequency can only be changed in 5 Hz steps. Any entries made from 0 to 9
Hz (except 5) will be automatically rejected.

Press the Enter key to accept the selected frequency, or press the Menu key to
exit edit mode without making any changes in the output frequency, or:

Press the arrow keys to enable
(On)
or disable
(Off)
the Sinusoid output port.

Press the Enter key to accept the selection, or press the Menu key to exit the
edit mode without making any selection change, or:

Press the arrow keys to enable

the Differential output port.
