5.4.1.3
Local Offset Selection
Local Offset can only be selected if LUTC or LGPS has been selected as Time
Reference. The local offset can be set with a resolution of 1 hour from -12 hours to + 12
hours.

Press key 1 until Time Menu 2 of 5 is selected (
Time Mode, Local Offset,
Internal Offset
).
•
While viewing the Time Menu 2 of 5 screen, press the Edit key until the Local
Offset

is flashing.

Use the arrow keys to select positive (+) or negative (-) Local Offset.
•
Press the Enter key to accept the selected Local Offset polarity.
•
Use the arrow and numeric keys to select the Local Offset hours.
•
Press the Enter key to accept the selected hours of Local Offset.
•
Press the Menu key to exit the edit mode, or proceed to the next paragraph.
5.4.1.4
Internal Offset Selection
The internal offset is the sum of all satellite signal delays between the antenna and the
receiver, including delays due to antenna cable length and delays due to an in-line
amplifier and/or filter (if used in the system). The maximum delay setting is +/- 99999
ns.
Note:
The Internal Offset parameter is only used to align the timing outputs to UTC. If
the unit is only being used as a frequency reference the Internal Offset is of no
consequence.
