1 PPS Output
This signal is a highly accurate 1 PPS time standard output for user-specific
synchronization applications. In the Time Locked mode, the signal is derived from the
unit's internal oscillator, which is locked to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) through
GPS. In the absence of GPS, the unit continues to provide the 1 PPS signal, but the
oscillator operates in the Coasting mode. The timing accuracy will degrade as the
duration of the Coasting period increases. The degradation also depends on the
installed oscillator type. Unless otherwise stated, the specifications apply when the unit
is operating in the Known position mode, the antenna's geodetic position is known
within 25 meters, the internal oscillator has been disciplined, the proper antenna/cable
delay has been selected, and Selective Availability (SA) is active.
