5.4.3
MENU 3 - EVENT TRIGGER/TIME TAG
There are two screens associated with Menu 3. One is used to setup the Event Trigger
output pulse, and the other is used to configure the Time Tag input port and display the
time tag input data.
5.4.3.1
Event Trigger Output Selection
•
Press key 3 until Event Trigger/Time Tag Menu 1 of 2 is selected (
Event Trigger
Setup
).

This screen displays the currently selected parameters of the Event Trigger output
pulse. To change the parameters:
•
Press the Edit key, and use the arrow keys and the numeric keys to select the
Start Time of the output pulse.
Note: The entered Start Time must be a future time in order for the Event Trigger
function properly.
•
Press the Enter key to accept the selected Start Time of the output pulse. Press
the Menu key to exit the edit screen, or:
•
Press the arrow keys to select the polarity of the output pulse (
Normal
or
Invert
).
•
Press the Enter key to accept the selected polarity. Press the Menu key to exit
the edit screen, or:
•
Use the arrow keys, the numeric keys, and the Enter key to enter the Period
(repetition rate) of the output pulse. Press the Menu key to exit the edit screen,
or:
•
Use the arrow keys, the numeric keys, and the Enter key to enter the Width
(duration) of the output pulse.
