MENU 5 - FREQUENCY AND PULSE RATE OUTPUT
Reference I/O commands: SETF, ROUT

Screen 1 - Frequency Output Ports
- Displays the selected frequency present
at each of the output ports. Through this screen the user can:
•
Change the frequency of the signal at each port.
•
Screen 2 - Pulse Rate Output Ports
- Displays the configuration of the pulse
rate output ports. Through this screen the user can:
•
Select preprogrammed pulse rates or user programmed pulse rates.
•
Select the default fixed pulse width or 50% duty cycle output.
•
Select the "on-time" edge polarity (Invert or Non-Invert).

MENU 7 - FREQUENCY STATUS

Screen 1 - Frequency Error and Standard Error of Estimate
- Displays the
computed frequency error of the internal oscillator, the standard error of
measurement of the internal timing, and the control word sent to the digital to
analog converter that controls the frequency of the internal oscillator. Through
this screen the user can:
•
Manually force the internal timing to re-synchronize to the GPS receiver 1
PPS output and restart the disciplining process.

MENU 8 - OPTION
- Active only if a special function is installed in the unit
that requires set up or monitoring. Refer to paragraph 5.5 for details.

If the Direct Digital Synthesizer is installed, the following screens can be accessed:
•
Screen 1 - Option Slot Menu
- This screen momentarily displays which option
is installed in the unit, and than switches to a permanent screen. Through this
screen the user can:
•
Select the frequency of the synthesizer output.
•
Enable or disable the differential output ports.
•
Enable or disable the Sinusoid output port (applies only to HF version of the
Synthesizer Option).
