Spelling Settings
OmniPage Pro Settings - 73
Additional Language(s)
In addition to the Main Language for recognition, you may select one (or
more) additional (secondary) languages for use with OCR. Because the
consideration of additional language sets takes additional processor
time, you should only activate this feature if your documents contain
more than one language.
To select Secondary Language and dictionary:
1
Click the Select button in the Spelling area of the Settings Panel.
The Select Secondary Languages dialog appears.
2
Select the appropriate language for the document you plan to
recognize. Command-click to select more than one language.
OmniPage Pro uses the character sets and determines that a
line of text is in a secondary language of the selected languages
when it recognizes a page image.
3
Click OK to save your language selections.
You can save the current Settings Panel and language settings in a
settings file
. You can then load this file anytime you want to restore the
preselected values. See page 65 for more information.
User Dictionary
Select a user (personal) dictionary in the User Dictionary pop-up menu.
For information on creating and editing user dictionaries, see “Creating
User Dictionaries” on page 107.
