Radar Fine Tuning on a Dual Radar
On dual radar both radar channels may
be separately tuned, providing each
transceiver is set as a Master.
On dual radar a Tune control is accessed from the features area of the
display, similar to the controls described previously for adjusting dual radar
video processing.
1. With Man 1 or Man 2 selected (either individually for each channel
or for both channels), right click in the Tune field. The radar tune
control is shown in the features area of the display with channel 1
and channel 2 fields separated.
2. If channels 1 and 2 are set to manual the
Tune control shows both indicators
available for tuning with the identification of
the transceivers shown in white lettering.
The dual radar Tune control form is usually
displayed for about 10 seconds, after which the control form is
replaced with the previously displayed menu.
3. If one channel is set to manual and the
other channel set to AFC the Tune control
enables tuning on the channel set to
manual mode. The channel in AFC mode
will display the updated tuning in
percentage terms as read only values.
4. Both channels are tuned in the same way
as described previously for manual fine
tuning for single channel radar.
5. Click the OK button to accept the revised
tuning levels and exit the Tune control
form.
