Bright-Field Microscopy
The ECLIPSE 55i with the low magnification objective may result in uneven illumination in the
field of view.

Turn on power.

Raise the condenser to the
uppermost position.

Fully open the field diaphragm and
aperture diaphragm.
Raise the condenser using the
condenser focus knob.
Fully open the
aperture diaphragm
using the aperture
diaphragm knob.
Fully open the field
diaphragm using
the field diaphragm
knob.
Press the power switch to
the “|” position.
