Completing the Software Upgrade 

(Switching Versions)

After verifying successful upload of all software files, set the new version as the 
main version in each one of the upgraded system elements:

¢

SU(s): Select the SU that should be upgraded. Select 

Unit Control > SW 

Versions Control > Set as Main,

 and enter the name of the new SU SW file. The 

unit will reset automatically and will use the new version after power-up. 
Repeat the process for all SUs that should be upgraded.

¢

AU(s): Select the AU that should be upgraded. Select 

Unit Control > SW 

Versions Control > Set as Main,

 and enter the name of the new AU SW file. The 

unit will reset automatically. After power-up, the unit will use the new version. 
Repeat the process for all AUs that should be upgraded.

¢

NPU/ BST: Select 

Unit Control > SW Versions Control > Run from Shadow

. The 

system will reset automatically. After power-up, the NPU/ BST will run from 
the new version, that at this stage is still marked as the Shadow Version. To 
switch versions, select 

Unit Control > SW Versions Control > Set as Main

.
