All IP parameters of both ports should be configured. Otherwise, default values
shall be used.

The Destination Subnet parameters of the MGMT port enable defining an
additional subnet of stations that can manage the device when connected via a
router to the MGMT port. If OOB management via a router connected to the
MGMT port is used, the parameters should be configured to ensure different
subnets for the Data port, the Management port and the Management Port
Destination Subnet.

Authorized Manager(s) must be configured properly to enable remote
management using bwaNMS (or another SNMP based application).
The NPU Configuration menu includes the following options:

Management Port Parameters
These parameters define the IP parameters for the Management (MGMT) port
connecting the base station to the backbone.
The Ethernet interface of the Management port in the NPU operates using Auto
Negotiation, enabling communication at either 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps, Full
Duplex.

Management Port IP Address
The IP address of the Management port.
NOTE
It is highly recommended to use the Management port for local management only. Typically the port
should be down (disconnected).
